UEFA Champions League Group B
Philips Stadion
19:45 BST

Expect a few changes. Back 5 hopefully stay the same, expect Schneiderlin to come in for Schweinsteiger after he played 90 yesterday, with Carrick probably coming off again during the 2nd half. Young for Memphis would probably be best, given form and Memphis may also try too hard to impress and try to do things himself. Seem to recall Ronaldo being the same when he went back to Sporting although he did score the winner there. Will be interesting to see if Herrera and Fellaini continue as 10 & 9 or if Martial comes in for one of them.

PSV won 6-0 yesterday.

Rooney out of Champions League group opener - Official Manchester United Website

United's travelling squad: David De Gea, Sergio Romero; Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian, Paddy McNair, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia; Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera, Andreas Pereira, Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Juan Mata, Ashley Young; Memphis Depay, Marouane Fellaini, Anthony Martial, James Wilson.

I'd like to see Martial come in for Fellaini upfront. Showed on Saturday, he's got composure in the final third. Showed strength and good hold up play in duel with Lovren. Is he seen as a winger or striker at this point in time though? Hope Wilson and Pereira are on the bench. Found Van Gaal's bench selection a little negative this season.

Team: De Gea; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw; Schweinsteiger, Herrera; Young, Mata, Memphis; Martial.
Subs: Romero, McNair, Rojo, Carrick, Schneiderlin, Valencia, Fellaini.

Quite an attack minded starting line up we have tonight. Do we see martial as the striker or Memphis?

Hopefully Martial. I'm excited to see him play up as a striker.

Bad injury for Shaw. He's been stretched off. Doesn't look good.

When he was on the ground I thought his shin pad was sticking out but it looks like his leg

He was coming along so well and know this awful for him and us.

That was a pretty mixed half for us. Had some good moments. Defending looks a bit ragged. Especially darmian looks a bit slow. Possibly due to fatigue.

Do we look like we can score again or is another usual performance?

We should have scored just but Mata right foot is as useful as Luke Shaw's broken leg
