After the madness of christmas feels like it's been ages since we last played.
As we know the team has been out in Dubai having a bit of a winter training camp in the sunshine and a bit of rain rather than non stop rain and freezing temperatures so hopefully everyones legs are well rested and ready to go.
In terms of the squad Young serves the final game of his ban, Bailly & Zlatan remain injured and it is unclear on the return date for Carrick.
From social media photos both Fellaini & Valencia training with the squad while out in dubai so we have to assume that means a clean bill of health for us.
As for Stoke they've sacked their manager last week and haven't replaced him yet so they come to Old Trafford with an interim manager and who knows the darkness and glum might have lifted. Stoke have a good record vs the top sides at home but an awful record away from home which is something both Hughes & Pulis suffered with.
Be interesting to see what system he goes for I assume it'll be similar to the 4-1-4-1 played against Derby rather than the 4-3-3 we used away to Everton. Get on the front foot keep the pressure on and smash some goals in hopefully.
