Gary Neville tells Pogba to do one too :)

Quite right in my book. He has got to do something extreme to get me back on board with him.

Neville is wrong on this occasion. The social media posts by Pogba were scheduled/timed post from his management team - it was bad timing and deleted quickly.

I immediately screenshot the Pogba post and sent it around WhatsApp groups I’m in. Poor timing or not it was idiocy at its finest.

6 minutes after the Mourinho sacking was announced

Actually that’s what I read on an article. Just looked at the screenshots on my phone though. It was posted at 10:33

Yeah I'm with Bob here. It was scheduled prior to today and how much will Pogba have known? He would have been in training anyway so it'll be his marketing team.

Pogba’s tweet was probably scheduled prior to today. It was just bad timing.

If so it still would have been known Mourinho was sacked and it would have been known that tweet was scheduled. It was an idiotic move by his team not to stop it going up. Proven by the fact it was later deleted after the amount of abuse he got.

Evra is now getting abuse for it and for not talking to Pogba and getting him to sort his attitude out. I hope Pogba turns it around I really like him as a player but his attitude has to change. He thinks he’s bigger than the club.

What I don't get is... Why is Pogba taking all the heat for his marketing team?

Where’s it been confirmed it was his marketing team and not him? Him, Lingard, Sanchez and Rashford are very much active themselves

Usually his marketing team would be putting up the ‘paid partnership’ post. The post he put up had very few hashtags just the caption ‘caption this’ with Pogba smirking at the camera in a pitch black room. Seems a very strange piece of marketing.

The post is in this article

Man Utd star Paul Pogba deletes Insta post but Gary Neville tells him to 'do one!' | Daily Mail Online

Saw a few people noticed our club social media went quiet yesterday which is rare suggesting something might be happening.

As for the Pogba stuff it's all done by his management company it's very poor timing who knows if it was done on purpose but if you think Pogba drafted that tweet and sent it you don't understand how social media works. Could have been the classic F U from his agent though to Mourinho.

As for Pogba it's on him now under the new coach he needs to show he's worth the hassle because if he doesn't this is his last year as well and if he wants to go to another top club he needs to show it on the pitch as right now no top club is going to want to pick up his wages the way he's playing every week.

I don't feel sorry for Mourinho but he's not 100% to blame for this mess but it felt like he was doing nothing to make up for the weaknesses in other areas which is what you'd hope a 15m a year manager could do.

Are you suggesting no sports stars have access to their Instagram accounts and post things themselves?

It could have very easily been a ‘final F U from Pogba’ that his team saw and immediately took down when seeing it. There’ll be a statement about it if it was his team to deflect any heat from him.

Lewis Hamilton/Nico Rosberg/Andy Murray are all often on their own accounts. You can often tell when it’s them and when it’s a part of their team if 3 of the biggest sports stars in the world are able to go on their own insta accounts I’m sure Pogba has the ability.

I'm not saying they don't have the passwords but that sort of garbage isn't the sort of thing they'd put out and most of the time it's still managed through the account as they will check photos/videos to make sure there's nothing being seen that shouldn't be seen. I've heard someone close to Pogba saying his is 100% controlled by his management company as they protect his image and he's quite a private guy so he doesn't really use it.

Some people are obviously doing it themselves but so much of it is stage managed now.

While Pogba clearly had his issues with Jose but I can't see him being that stupid to me it just sounds like really bad timing as the sacking was kept pretty quiet.

The face he was pulling made no sense to what happened to Jose either. GNev obviously doesn't have much time for Pogba though, his reply was hilarious.

Awful his management thought that was ok though. Just shows how badly advised he is.

Yeah G.Nev funny, probably has more to with his lack of commitment on the pitch during difficult times.

I hope Pogba turns it around now. It will take a bit for me to forgive, but I did forgive Rio eventually.

Being photo’d with Kenyon at Chelsea when he was trying to get a new deal

There was probably more because he wasn’t popular with the fans at the time. Can’t remember

And according to The Sun, Pogba led euphoric scenes at Carrington on Tuesday morning when news of Mourinho’s sacking was announced.

He allegedly shouted: “He thought he could make a fool of me and turn the fans against me. He f***ed with the wrong baller.”

Carrick, who was placed in temporary charge for 48 hours, reportedly told the players that their position at the club was not safe either unless they started meeting Man United’s high standard.

Pogba shouted 'he f***ed with the wrong baller' after Mourinho sacking - reports

Glad Carrick was quick to stamp down on the players and remind them they’ve let the club down too

you know what, no matter how bad I think Pogba's attitude has been, I just don't see him saying that.

If true you’d have to imagine Lukaku is the one who leaked it. That relationship has deteriorated fast.

The better side of his social media shown today. Him and other team mates raising the Christmas cheer at local hospitals for kids. That’s the sort of thing social media is good for and a good way to increase his perception with the crowd he was in danger of losing.

Gary Neville is still going on about this.

"Everyone always concentrates on Paul Pogba," Neville said.

"I only have one problem with Paul Pogba and that was his post, which I think disrespected Jose Mourinho in losing his job.

"We know it didn't come from the club, we know it didn't come from adidas, we know it came from Paul Pogba, so my view personally is that was a massive disappointment to disrespect somebody that's lost their job."

I thought it came from his management company who help run his account because he was in the process of launching his app.

People just need to move on from it now Mourinho created a toxic environment at a 3rd club in a row

Not travelled to Dubai, still undergoing treatment and will join up later. Bit weird, won't they have med team with them?

I thought that too and considering it was in the papers this weekend he was out walking his dogs on Sunday he can't be too bad.

The fact it made the papers he was walking his dog ridiculous

What do you mean? Pogba walking his dog is BIG news these days lol

Apparently he is en route to Dubai right now to catch up with the squad.

I imagine only part of the medical staff went to Dubai if he needed treatments that involved doctors or specialist equipment at the training ground it's no surprise he stayed behind as none of the injured players travelled.

That story in the sun was ridiculous and sadly stank of the sort of headline that Raheem Sterling faces the implication was he'd sacked off a training camp to walk his dog when the truth was he's travelling out a few days later because of treatment to an injury.
