BBC SPORT--Hodgson warns Man Utd off Reina
"If Ferguson is looking around and has lots of money, he might want Pepe Reina because he is the best around," Hodgson told the Liverpool Echo. "But we do not want to sell him. He is a lifeblood of this team."
So what do we think? Have to admit that Reina was first to cross my mind after news of VDS possibly retiring. Despite what Hodgson says Reina maybe ready 2 seek a more successful club because playing for Liverpool hasn't gotten him any closer to fellow GK Spaniards success. But, do we think he would sign on? Do we want him? I rate him highly but I've always wondered if he's content being a "big fish in a lil pond" or sincerely loyal to his club. I wouldn't mind him replacing VDS if he retires. Banter aside, I think he's the 2nd best GK in the PL. What do you guys think?
