Definitely se7en. I said for years that we should try him through the middle, was fantastic there this summer. We misused him. He was often poor on the left because he was quite predictable out there as he'd rarely do anything but cut inside. On the right, he would go both ways. Played his best football for us on the right and should have been kept there.

Have to agree... On the right he was a threat. I still remember the goal / assist against Arsenal when he cut inside two players. What a piece of skill.

Nani in flashes was such a good player but he could never find that consistency. But the biggest problem was the comparisons with Ronaldo. A lot of flair players with great skill don't have great consistency, they do things that win games in the blink of an eye. Ronaldo being the super freak he was found consistency and Nani was then always compared to him.

He was brilliant on the right, very unpredicatable. Unfortunately when things were going bad he was immediately pounced upon by both fans and manager.

He never stood a chance under LVG; he was pretty much the worst LVG type footballer.
