How are we rating the new series of Misfits?

I was chatting with someone last Saturday about Misfits. I've never seen it before so was interested to know what the show is about. Is it about superpowers? I know the current series is the third, would I need to watch the first two?

I suppose you wouldn't need to but it would help as it does have a stroyline and isnt just a comedy. The first 2 series are brilliant and yes it's about superpowers.

I was an avid watcher of the first 2 series but i've not managed to catch one episode of the new series so far.

Rudy has grown on me as the series has gone on wasnt sure about him at first.
