If City are open to a sale would it be worth a phone call?

You don’t ask you don’t get but I think Sane would prefer the move back to Bayern if he had the choice.

It’s worth picking up the phone. He’s a brilliant winger. But can’t see City ever allowing it to happen.

It’s worth picking up the phone but it probably wouldn’t be answered. They wouldn’t want to sell a quality player to us. If they were to sell, back to Germany would be their ideal.

Think it’s always going to happen at big clubs that the squad players are going to get dissastisfied because Sane would walk into most teams in the world.

I think City are pretty pragmatic on this they know they need to balance FFP books Utd would obviously have to pay more than Bayern because it's prem to prem but I don't think their owners would see it as to big an issue if the price was right.

Ideally whenever you sell a player you don't want to sell to a direct rival but City want to win the CL so is it better to strengthen Utd domestically who are miles behind or Bayern who will be a direct rival for the prize you really want?

The way the money is now these top PL sides need to start selling to each other because we're the only clubs who can afford each others players bit like it is in Italy.

Be surprised if this deal doesn't happen this summer but if Bayern don't have the cash and nothing to offer up as a trade City might have to keep him for a year and let him go for free which would be a huge hit for them.

Think he's been missed more than people realise he was such a weapon for them in attack didn't always start but having a guy of his quality on the bench was lethal can see why Pep wants him to stay.

Apparently they’ve agreed a deal 55m

Great deal for a guy with 1 year on his contract who hasn’t played in 12 months because of a knee injury.

City will need a replacement I think they’ve missed him this year.

They could but not sure they'd want to as they were really annoyed at the way he left so bridges might be burned.

Plenty of work to do at City this summer they need a left back, a centre back and now they need another forward.

Talk is that Aguero won’t stay around for a season without champions league football too.

City could struggle next year for sure, will be people go there without Pep comitting too?

Chelsea look like they will be some side, and Liverpool of course.

Talk is 1 year ban they think the players will suck it up 2 year ban a lot of the big players have said they'd want out and rumour that even Pep might go back to Barca. Players like KDB, Sterling etc won't want to spend their peak years not playing CL football.

Thing is... Is Sane even actually that good?
The season they got 100 points he was brilliant, the second season they won the league he lost his spot to Bernardo Silva but he still made some big contributions off the bench.

3 seasons at City 135 games 39 goals so he's not far off 1 in 3 off the wing in his early 20's don't think many wingers are pulling out those sort of numbers.
