Ligue 1: Monaco 5-0 Metz - 11th February 2017
18. Second hat-trick of the season.
Champions League: Manchester City 1-2 Monaco - 21st February 2017
Special player. Exciting when young footballers burst on the scene.
Ligue 1: Monaco 1-0 Nantes - 5th March 2017
Scored again just before half time. Watching it, he is such a threat playing through the middle. Like Rashford, dangerous on the wing but so much more of a threat running behind CB's without the ball and at them with the ball.
Ligue 1: Monaco 2-0 Bordeaux - 11th March 2017
Lad is deadly but keeper's positioning dreadful
And again tonight. So sharp.
Ligue 1: Caen 0-3 Monaco - 19th March 2017
Champions League: Borussia Dortmund 2-3 Monaco - 12th April 2017
Never doubted the lad would score when I realised it was him going through on goal.
Scary amount of talent coming through in France right now if they can get the mix right in the squad should be serious contenders at next 2-3 major tournaments.
Seems like there's a new superstar every season.
Absolute class. They went through a very poor era but the French are back.
The composure he showed was outrageous for an 18 yr old.
Martial, Mbeppe, Kingsley, Coman all 21 and under. Griezemann an old man of the squad.
2006 WC final
Euro 2016 final
Imagine calling 10 years between finals a slump and less than 20 years since your last trophy a slump.
I know they had some issues in between but they are nailing talent development right now.
I hope he stays at Monaco for at least 1 more season to develop his game further but if Madrid come I think he will go but fitting him in at Madrid could be a problem. He needs to pick his next step wisely but with the price Monaco will want he only has 2 or 3 options if the price is €130m only Utd or Madrid could pay that not even sure City could pay that with FFP being an issue.
The more I see him the more he reminds me of R9 Ronaldo if he stays injury free he looks destined for great things.
Champions League: Monaco 2-0 Borussia Dortmund - 19th April 2017
Not bad this lad is he?
Get your chequebook out Ed. Whatever it takes.
I don't see the point in spending lots of cash on this lad when we have Rashford.
Money better spent elsewhere.
Griezmann is the player we need.
I kind of agree Mbappe & Rashford are basically the same player young exciting centre forwards and Mbappe is having the sort of season this season that Rashford had at the end of last season where he's just smashing it but Utd can't just keep buying young players if you do that you become Arsenal where all you talk about is potential.
Utd need a reliable striker that you can trust to hit the back of the net on a regular basis we have that with Zlatan but ideally you want someone with more mobility and is about 10 years younger to help Rashford through the next 2-3 seasons and compete with him to be the number 1 or possibly even play with him at times where both can fit in the team.
Utd desperately need to add goals to this team in the summer that's strikers, wingers, number 10's, midfielders, full backs or centre backs wherever they're going to come from Utd need to sign players with goal threat as our scoring record at home in the post Fergie era is pathetic teams need to be coming to Utd thinking that they could lose 5-0.
I really like the look of Mbappe he looks like an incredible talent but with Rashford there I just don't thin he's right for us right now.
