To be fair it sounds like Utd didn't handle this one to well offered him a new deal on less money when everyone else is getting pay rises then don't come back with another offer until it's to late.

That said he downed tools at the end of the season when the team needed him after he'd secured his move with all his mystery injuries.

He was an alright player in an average Utd team while he was here I do think losing him makes us weaker but he's not particularly hard to replace.

I think he's so easily replaced, you could replace him with Postman Pat.
To be fair we signed Schweinstieger, Schniederlin, Matic, Fred in an attempt to "upgrade" Herrera and I don't think any of them really ever looked any better than him.

I like Herrera but never understood the love in some people had for him this whole he gets the club stuff was nonsense he knows what to say but for me he was a solid player who looked good in the era he played in but had he turned up 10 years before he did everyone would have though of him as a Fletcher type.
