Google claims 'quantum supremacy' for computer

The company claims a quantum computer has surpassed conventional devices for the first time.

Quantum computers will take the whole world to the next level in terms of technology. To put that into perspective, to break a 2048-bit encryption it will take a standard computer 6.4 quadrillion years. Quantum computers will do it in 8 hours.
