Absolutely yeah! I don't think any United fan likes Ed and we would all happily see him go, and he should be fired for the job he's done. But this is actually quite sickening to read.Disgusting. He might not be one we like and he might not be doing a great job but leave it at the stadium. I hope the police catch those involved.
Disgusting behaviour. Ban the idiots for life.
Seems strange that in a week where things have started to die down a bit on Ed they’ve put this story back in the news again by lodging a complaint.
Woodward’s image since we took on that PR consultant really has taken a pasting
Let's hope they are changing things behind the scene, haven't heard anything about a director of football and until they sort that out I don't know how things will improve also maybe appointment some better coaches would love to see Ferdinand and Evra there sorting the defensive out! It's not a PR thing at all. If they have found out someone knew about this in advance, they definitely should complain, it's the right thing to do regardles of PR.
Bobbygeorge1, Woodwards comments are reassuring, as someone who supports giving Ole a fair crack in the hope things are changing behind the scenes at the club, this reinforces that. Whether it's true or not!

Exactly we need a director of football we have for some time now can't understand why we can't appoint one, what happened to Ferdinand he went for talks didn't he?I think if you're employing a PR expert he probably would be advising you let it die down and go quiet rather than take on the countries biggest newspaper by lodging a complaint that probably doesn't go anywhere putting it back in the news cycle.
As for his comments actions speak louder than words it's nothing new it's basically the same stuff he said in the summer to united we stand saying Utd have made mistakes but it's a fresh start new recruitment department will help them make better decisions etc etc. It's saying all the right things but the proof will be in the pudding this summer can Utd pull off the sort of deals that push up right back up the table and solve the problems that exist in the squad or will it be another summer where we don't get the job done.

Just seems a little strange you'd of thought ole would want all the help he could get& Woodward would want one so if transfer didn't work out or materialise he could have said well that's not my faultWe can't appoint one because we don't actually want one that whole search for a director of football for me was just for show to get the fans off the clubs back after a disaster of a transfer window it was a PR stunt. They clearly weren't serious about appointing one because they never really got to close to appointing anyone.
They said when Jose was sacked and Ole came as interim that they wouldn't appoint a new manager until this director role was filled then within 3 months they'd appointed Ole full time and scrapped the search for a director of football. I think that is because Ole didn't want one probably didn't want someone around who'd be looking to boot him out from day one and Woodward/Board didn't want one as they didn't want to hand over power to anyone outside of their little circle.
