Don't think he'll get much of a chance with us so a loan would be great. Really like him as a player. We've got a lot of young forwards now though. I think Preston would be the better move. Fergie can talk to Fergie Jnr about his progress more than if he went to Blackpool. Definite starter at Preston too. At Blackpool, one bad game and he might be out and out for a while and might never get back in. Playing with Blackpool would give him Prem experience but it would be hard to impress however if he did impress in the Prem this would stand him in good stead and could be fighting for a place the following season. Difficult decision. Easier to impress in the Championship but playing in the Prem would give him good experience. Down to you, Fergie.

Confirmed: 'Pool Make Welbeck Enquiry
As the rumours suggested, Blackpool are indeed interested in Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck, with manager Ian Holloway confirming that the club have enquired about the youngster's services.

However, Ollie admitted that he expects no joy out of his enquiry, with Welbeck likely to sign for penniless rivals Preston as manager Darren Ferguson looks to his daddy to help him out, despite pledging not to when he first became a manager.

Newcastle have also been linked with the player however, although interestingly Preston's fans have been quick to write Welbeck off following his link to Blackpool, despite lauding him (and indeed Ferguson) as their saviour(s) last season. Fickleness eh?
Preston favourites then...didnt know their fans didnt like Welbeck?!
They should thank their stars Fergie Jnr is their manager or they would have hardly got many decent players on loan!
