Didn't realise we were the early kick off this week as Ole's wounded warriors travel to Turkey hoping to really take control of the group.

Haven't heard much in the way of team news yet can only assume Telles is still out with Covid so won't have travelled and I believe Bailly and Lingard are both still injured and not yet ready to return. Haven't heard of any injuries or knocks from yesterday Greenwood limped off a bit when subbed but he'd just suffered a pretty heavy tackle so he should be fine.

Selection wise we have to assume it'll be a pretty strong starting XI for Utd but will likely be some rotation my guess is it'll be back to a 4-2-3-1 system.

DDG

AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw

Fred Matic

Bruno VDB Rashford

Martial

This one should be a gimme. Ole might want to give a rest to some of the starters from the Arsenal game. We used to have a problem in the league after away CL games, and as we're already having league problems, ring the changes.

Can’t we just skip to a PL game we need points
What so we can qualify for the CL again?

Christ mate we slugged all the end of last season to get into this bloody competition we might as well enjoy it while it's here not like we can take it for granted anymore is it.

That said watching the CL in empty stadiums feels extra tough as these games are usually pumping not sure how it's going in Turkey so there might actually be a crowd at this one.

I was only joking , the CL is the only happy place for us at the moment

Team news

Manchester United will be without midfielder Jesse Lingard who has not travelled while full-back Alex Telles is unavailable after recently testing positive for coronavirus. Centre-back Eric Bailly remains sidelined.

Worth noting the official club app has them lining up as a diamond.

Very attacking midfield selection regardless of how they line up.

Win would be massive, a draw wouldn't be a disaster given it's away from home but feels like we need a good win to boost confidence.

What the hell are we doing there why have we got Matic as the cover he’s slow, why has he then pushed forward with no one behind him. Absolute school boy stuff that

Feel sorry for Dean Henderson, bet he thought he'd have a defence in front of him.

A gimme.... Have you followed United the last few seasons?? Lol

Such a poor performance. Seriously lacking ideas. Didn’t look like scoring in the second half.

Dire. Ole is approaching the point of no return, the manner of defeats, the lack of performance and direction. Anything less than 3 points on Saturday then I think it may be the end.

Sack him to feck!! Look at the selection of talent he had to choose from tonight and sends us to defeat by a team that look like part-timers. He doesn't know what system he's trying to play and also doesn't know his best XI, get him out asap before he takes us out at CL group stage and bottom half of PL. :(
