There were a lot of Bulgarian fans at the training session in Chicago... I hope one day all fans will respect him.

it reminds me of gary birtles,he was a goal scoring machine at notts forest,we bought him and he didn't score for ages, but what the fans forgot to do(as they do with berbatov)is watch his all round game, what he brings to the table, players where that busy watching him it gave space to the rest plus the goals he laid on,but because he was bought with striker tag they(blinkered)thought thats all he was, shame really because being tagged like that peole(so called fans)didn't see his true worth to the side..........there i go again...waffle ......waffle........waffle

Berba is NOT as bad as he is said to be or seems to be. Contrasting styles between him and our star strikers is what has made him "unlikeable". I personally see him stepping up this season especially with our young guns- Kiko,Diouf, Chicharito and Welbeck lurking on the side lines ready to snatch a place in the starting line up.

He will absolutely bring a lot of experience to the team however we as fans need to be a bit more supportive as well.

So to Berba, i say suck up to us-the fans, praise us, you need to..We will always be there to love you and bash you all in good faith, we want to see you shine :p

Would love for Berba to shine next year, all he needs to do really is score against bigger teams, I think that's the only reason he hasn't been getting praised, it's not the quantity that people are bothered about, it's the quality of the opposition, the media don't help his cause, if you remember the Bayern Munich game, we took Rooney off after Rafael got sent off and brough on a defender and the commentators, pundits and journos said it shows how much faith Fergie has in Berba to not bring him on for Rooney, I couldn't believe what bullshit I was hearing from people. Why would he bring Berba on when we've just gone down to 10 men? Seems nonsensical to me.

    I'm backing the Berb!
