So ... rumours. Manchester United want Lyon wing-back Michel Bastos, who is 27 years old and a potential replacement for his compatriot Patrice Evra, who "some sources" say is unsettled in Manchester and angling for a move back to his native France.

When he played here in Brazil, he was left back. But when he went to Europe, turned winger. He is no longer left back. He was never a big player in marking, and that's why he was one of the worst Brazil's players in last World Cup. As a winger, he would be an interesting hire. Good crossing, nice long range shots, quick ...
Although I think there are better options.

there might be truth in this story, but it might be just that we want to buy him as a winger, and maybe backup LB, no way he's good enough to replace Pat
