He just looks unfit, although you can tell he is still got that touch of class but he was off the pace last year. His injuries have taken their toll and there is no sign of them relenting. Like others have said, he'd be best going to have a last payday somewhere. Although wouldn't be surprised if he went back to Germany, although not sure if he would want to go anywhere but Bayern. I would hasten a guess he'll end up in the MLS.
Its all about the money money money, as Jessie J would sing. hes 32 and knows his playing days are virtually over. He can come in, do an hour or so light training and got the rest of the day off, and who can blame him really, hes won everything in the game. Eventually he will negotiate a pay off at about 75-80% of his contract left, and probably be gone by the new year, or earlier.
I would of thought so too, but according to reports he wont leave the club even though there have been offers, and has been told there is no way hes going to play here. This leads to 2 possibilities, he either doesnt fancy going to MLS, Turkey or France as he thinks hes still better than that, or as I mentioned hes taking the easy life. Cant think of any other reason. Bayern have said they dont want him back, and apart from PSG no other top club wants him anyway.I'm not sure he's that kind of player though? He doesn't me as someone who's ready to just let his career wind down in quite that way... And given everything he's achieved in his career that really wouldn't be the way for a player like him to bow out.
To be honest if I'm Schweinsteiger I'm going to bang on Jose's door every day and get my agent ringing around clubs!

Well of course I am only quoting the press, but it looks like Rojo as well, turned down the opportunity to move on.And do we even know that PSG want him? Or was that just a rumour as it seemed like a logical move for both parties. Seems like a funny situation all in all and I would still be surprised if he stays at the club... It makes no sense for him to stay here as he's been told he's not part of the plans. I know it's an easy life and I guess from that point maybe he would be best to just sit and stick his fingers up to the club?
Agree. You know if he played he would slow the side down then be injured for months again. Another bad LVG decisionI think he'll be gone before the end of the window, he's not over the hill yet although the best days are behind him. I wouldn't blame someone for wanting an easy life after a distinguished career and it's clear his body is not allowing him to play like we know he can. However, I don't think he's like that like Rich said, his wages maybe a stumbling block too for clubs. Can't blame Mourinho for not fancying him either, his performances last year were okay without being spectacular and you know an injury is just around the corner, so for continuity sake he is a risk.
