I've got quite a few, its a nice hobby to have not to expensive either.

I dont collect in a specific area, I just collect the badges I like. But I very rarely collect the later official badges.

I buy a match day badge at every home game I attend.
Got a brilliant badge from the Fulham game last season with "OT 100 years" on it.

Are we talking those metal pin-badges? What are they made of? Just material?

Yeah mate the pin badges, majority of them are metal some can be plastic.
