Selected alongside Habeeb Ogunneye for the latest England u17 squad. Richly deserved.

First player to ever play for any United team called Kobbie, not a lot of people know that.

Looks a real special talent. Could well be given a gig for the U23’s before the season is out.

Great to see these talented young guys getting tied down.

I'm excited to see if Mainoo can take the step in a couple of years. Probably too soon for him now as he needs to develop physically but he looks like an exciting prospect.

Yep it's all about the pathway now how do we get these talented kids first team ready.

For some that will be staying at Old Trafford and developing with the U23's for others it may be loan moves if they are ready to take on the challenges of men's football.

There is still a huge way to go for these kids hopefully they'll keep their focus and develop their physical and technical talent and they're at a club where you will be given chances if you are good enough.

Looking good. Great close control and passing. Need to bulk up but that is a great player in the making. Hopefully, he go to Derby next year, he is too good to waste time with the under23.

I didn’t watch the game last night but from reports, out of the youngsters, Mainoo and Iqbal impressed the most.
