It is certainly a problem to us. As I have said before I dont believe we have anybody who plays in out midfield 2 that gets into any of the other big teams, but unfortunately it is still the best we have.
Amad has loads of potential. I think because I have had a couple of moans about his game time it has been interpreted as me saying he should be in the first team. I was never saying that. I was saying that there were a couple of 2nd legs that were as good as over that we could have tested the...
He could have done both this week. He could have gained that first team experience and 8 minutes of football, and then started for the u23s on Friday night.
No he doesn't. I didn't actually say 90 minutes of this game, I was actually thinking more like 30 minutes, though I would have liked to have seen him start against sociadad. But it isn't so much that he isn't playing for the first team, I am not one that says just throw all the kids in, but...
It was a weakened defence, it was not depleted. We paid quite a lot of money for Amad and he is spending nearly all the time sat on a bench. He needs some football.
Tbh I have been disappointed with the subs again to a degree. I would have thought a couple of the kids may have been worth a few more minutes, particularly Amad who is getting no football at all really.
It is classic Jose deflection and one of the reasons we should be grateful he is somewhere else. The majority of Spurs fans will be squirming listening to that.
He was outstanding today. I have to call it as I see it though. He looked like he couldn't be arsed to me last week. Fully committed this week. More than happy to eat my words
It will be a bit of a B team with all the suspensions. Shot is right though, at least the suspensions are out of the way and we should get through anyway.
I think last summers transfer window has caused us a problem. We did not bring people in that were natural starters. A couple of them fattened up the squad a little bit but not the first eleven. Plus we have had a right flank problem for about 6 years. We signed two young kids who may or may...
This is terrible. Front 3 are awful. No creativity in midfield. Silly mistakes at the back. We have never in the Ole era found a way of breaking teams down that do not come at us.
You might not be talking about a class of 22 had you seen the youth cup game yesterday. We do have lots of potential but they had a bad day at the office yesterday.
If he is a genuine starter for the first team then fair enough, but if he is a player that is too good for the u23s but not yet ready for the first team then I would rather he be out on loan gaining experience than sat on our bench every week.
Seems to be doing really well there. I think another season out on loan, preferably to a premier league club, and hopefully ready for us the year after.
