Dimitar #Berbatov is NOT about to join PSG from #MUFC contrary to reports. Confirmed by club a few moments ago. #BBCFootball via @howardnurse

He also says the De Gea deal will get done after the Euro U21 Championships. Which is pretty much when De Gea's agent's contract ends and Jorge Mendes steps in and takes a load of money from the deal.

We've got a whole summer of this. I wish they'd just get rid of transfer windows.

    He might.

I was refering to the status of the club itself. Does Berba think his game is at PSG's level? French football?

Makes no sense to me that particular rumour.

Darren Can: United are closing in on an agreement with Fiorentina which will see four Under 16 players move to Old Trafford. Two are goalkeepers, one is a midfielder.

Edit: Gollini, Lezzerini, Madrigali and Capezzi are the four players.

That is a very interesting deal indeed. I have never heard of that happening unless there is an affiliation between two clubs (feeder etc).

This will mean that these 4 Italians will be classed as homegrown when they need to be registered if they make it at United. It's a very clever ploy, not many other clubs seem to be taking advantage of it, smaller clubs should really be taking advantage of it.

People say Kaka will join on loan... I don't believe it if i'm being honest as it's someone claiming to be ITK and i'm fed up of those idiots.

More on the 4 Italians... Four New Italians - RedCafe.net
The Gazetta dello Sport today reported that United had signed four of the stars of the Fiorentina Youth team.

The Fiorentina U17's won the Alievi Nazionale in 2010/11...the equivalent in kudos to our FA Youth Cup but run in a league format.

This story has been rumbling for a couple of weeks but only hit the Italian newspapers today.

Nmerous comments have been made on Twitter by those who follow the youth people on there.

    The four players are:

    1. Pierluigi Gallini (goalkeeper)

A goalkeeper who was originally from SPAL and has only been with Fiorentina one season. He attracted lot's of interest in Italy notably from Inter and AC Milan as well as Juventus. Originally a midfielder as a youth he has excelled since going into nets.

    2. Luca Lezzerini (goalkeeper)

Born 24th March 1995 in Rome, Luca has been capped six times for the Italian Youth Team. Three times each at U/16 and U/17 level. Originally from Lazio, he joined Fiorentina 18 months ago. He stands at 195cm and weighs 86kg.

    3. Leonardo Capezzi (attacking midfield)

Born 28th march 1995 in Figline Valdarno just outside Florence, he is 178cm tall and weighs 69kg. He is the star of the Fiorentina Youth team and has been tipped to go all the way. He also has played for the Italian Youth team, three times at U/16 and twice at U/17.

    4. Saverio Madrigani (defender)

Born 28th January 1995 his twin brother Xavier also plays in the same team. He is 190cm and weighs 81kg...a big lad for 16! He has been at Fiorentina for three years and is originally from Massa Marittima near Grosseto in Tuscany. He played his early football for Freccia Azzurra in Pisa. In March 2011 he was called up into the Italian U/16 development squad in Coverciano.

It will be interesting to see if all four players come to Manchester and if Madrigani comes alone or with his twin brother.

Watch the fireworks on this one!

@bumperGraham re Thiago. Smart move for United to move for him, would flourish there. But his determination to stay at FCB seems pretty high.

Howardnurse Strong rumours persist about Modric joining MUFC by Monday. No firm evidence to back those claims at the moment. Will work on it though.

He is not using the rumours started by TransferUpdate.

Itkagent1962 Hearing exciting news from Old Trafford. Should break late Friday or Monday. It's not Modric.

Itkagent1962 Nasri will have a medical in Manchester next week.

Itkagent1962 Nasri, next Monday or Tuesday. You wait and see. The other signing will be either Brazilian or Mexico.

This person credible or another wind up merchant?

I cannot see us signing Nasri or Modric.
