    Got to admit Chelsea with Modric AND Mata would be a force to contend with, really hoping Villas-Boas decides they don't need the two and united can capitalise on the work Chelsea have already done on making Modric want to leave.. No matter how slim the chances of that happening are

    Pogba's sitution and Cleverley and Anderson's injury situations could make Fergie consider Modric. I'd prefer we signed a holding player and an attacking midfielder to be honest. A Modric Carrick midfield does sound good though..

    If the rumours of Spurs turning down £40m last summer are true they're not going to let him go easily.

    Classy player but I think he'll be vastly over priced and if you do some half decent scouting in Europe you could get a similar player at half the price.

    I could see us offering up Berbatov as part of a deal as they'd probably be happy to take him back considering they're short of strikers but I'm not sure he'd go back unless they make Champs League
