From the little I know about the Ajax players that's a very attacking team. 2 strikers, 2 attacking midfielders, 2 wingers...... could be a good game to watch.
Excited by this game now, didn't think I'd be saying that after we were knocked out in December.
Good team, not too far from what I predicted after Fergie's comments. Carrick and Cleverley partnership starting for the first time? Did Carrick and Cleverley start against Everton?
Both are attacking teams, should be a good game. Erm I think it was Fletcher and Cleverley against Everton, not 100% sure though. Don't think Carrick broke into the team until November.... wouldn't be surprised if this is their first game together.

I think it was Fletch and Cleverley vs Everton.
I hope Fergie does a bit of experimenting tonight. I hope Rafael isn't injured, not in the 18. Didn't expect Nani, Jones and Young to start so soon after coming back from injury. Expected Cleverley as he was on the bench on Saturday. I hope Young has a good game, needs a confidence boost. Had a difficult period after a good start. Him and Rooney got a good understanding.
Yes, I've looked up our teams for that period, you are both correct. Carrick featured 11 days earlier (18th Oct) but didn't feature again until Swansea (19th Nov).
I've seen him once or twice for Ajax and a couple more times for Denmark and have been very impressed. Not sure if he's ready to play for a club the size of United but he'll be a top class player in a few years. Will be interesting to see how their midfield works, all three of them are attacking midfielders as far as I'm aware, could get a lot of room for Rooney, Cleverley, Young and Nani to work in.
Eriksen is causing us problems. Nani seems to be having one of those games, Young has been poor so far seems to telegraph everything he does. Cleverley is doing pretty well and Evans again showing how much he's improved in the last 6 months.
