If anyone lives near Southampton and fancies going, it's free entry.
Team: Johnstone; Vermijl, Thorpe, Fornasier, McGinty; Cole, Tunnicliffe, Petrucci, Lingard; Macheda, Henriquez
Subs: Pereira (GK), Veseli, Lawrence, Ekangamene, Bebe.
Petrucci lucky to escape at least a yellow card for a two footed tackle.
Henriquez should have done better. Fantastic pass from McGinty.
Unlucky Lingard after good play from Henriquez.
United starting to dominate.
How close was that from Macheda.
Great play from Vermilj. Good effort from Henriquez and good save from Southampton's 'keeper.
Almost a Southampton own goal but the keeper makes a fine save.
0-0 at half time. Dominant first half from United, but the team will be disappointed not to have taken at least one or two of the opportunities created. Most enjoyable half of U21s football I've seen this season.
Penalty for Southampton. Vermijl was adjudged to have fouled Lee inside the penalty area.
1-0 Southampton, Lee.
Tut tut, Thorpe should have equalised. Free header from 6 yards out.
Bebe replaces Henriquez.
Decent effort from Macheda after a good cross from Bebe, but another excellent save denies the Italian.
1-1, Macheda. Cropper parries a Lingard shot following a strong run from midfield from Tunnicliffe. Macheda gobbles up the rebound to equalise.
Johnstone saves a Southampton penalty following a Jesse Lingard handball. Lingard received red card for the offence.
1-1 full time score.
Looks like we'll miss out on Elite group now which is disappointing but hopefully that'll mean that we loan a few out and play more U18s in U21s.
Should really have won tonight, easily the better team but not clinical enough.
Well if we beat Villa we'll still qualify, we know what we need to do.
