Meaty challenge from Watkins-Clark on Petrucci. Yellow card awarded.

Good play by Tunnicliffe on two seperate occasions in the space of a minute.

Further good play from Tunnicliffe creates an opportunity for Macheda. The Italian was unable to take advantage as he crowded out inside Villa's penalty area.

Crunching tackle involving Buttner. He may have sustained an injury as a result.

0-0 at half time. Apart from odd moment the first half has been fairly uneventful. We 're not creating enough goal scoring opportunities. With surging runs and tackles Tunnicliffe has been United's best player so far.

I dont particularly like having a go at young players but I cannot see what Bebe brings to the club at all.

He's been poor during the first half. I'm reluctant to be critical because of his background and the circumstances in which he signed. I'll be very surprised if he doesn't leave in the summer.

    McGinty replaces the injured Buttner.

Agreed he has come from an awful background to better himself and full credit for that. however this is a 7 million pound player who is possibly the worst buy we have ever had.

Bebe has the raw tools, but he doesn't have a football brain.

Good layoff from Macheda to Powell, but he hits his effort straight at Villa's 'keeper.

In no way is Bebe good enough but I feel sorry for him, could be doing very well for himself in the Portuguese league now.

How has Powell done? I'm only just tuning in.

Larnell Cole hits the post from 6 yards out following good play from Bebe and Macheda. He should have buried the opportunity.
