    It's unknown how long the loan spell is but it seems to me that it is only temporary.

    He'll have experienced 4 different environments this summer with this. He's been with England U19s, United's first team, the Reserves tour and now Oldham. Can't be a bad thing.

    Looks like he'll be playing quite a bit with the injuries Oldham's keepers have.

    Depends how long he's there for to be honest Geoff. I meant that experiencing 4 different environments can't be a bad thing.

    Oh i agree- English U 21's, United's 1st team, Reserves and now Oldham are good experiences for him.

    I'm hoping he gets a good run in the first team at Oldham.

    Sam Johnstone kept a clean sheet for Oldham in 0-0 draw with Burnley - Latics report that loan deal is only for their last two friendlies.
