A thread to discuss Luke Giverin.
Don't know much about Giverin as he rarely plays, when he has played I think he's done well though. Would like to see him play more. Bit of an interview below with him, have a read.

Signed for Antwerp on loan along with van Velzen.

That should be good for him, great experience of playing in another country and he'll play more. Those that watch the academy teams closely think he's underrated.

Joyce talks very positively of Giverin. Will be very interesting to see how he gets on and van Velzen of course. Would be nice if Antwerp could get promoted soon.

Luke Giverin exclusive interview - Official Manchester United Website
Very good interview this.
Giverin is staying at Royal Antwerp until the end of the season. Van Velzen has returned, he apparently started the season very well but has struggled since.
ROYAL ANTWERP FOOTBALL CLUB
Gyliano van Velzen worked yesterday his final workout and took leave of his colleagues. After the holidays, he joined again the core of coach Warren Joyce. It is unfortunately a farewell with some mixed feelings, just as we have time at our club could describe. The nineteen year old Amsterdam in late August with Luke Giverin with great nobility and unmistakable qualities to Bosuil descended. The player left flank was like his teammate with the Reds immediately the confidence of the technical staff at R Antwerp FC. Confidence that he and his teammates already knew the Municipal Sports Centre into a soothing victory against KSK Heist. Both seemed Mancunians launched a spirited period when the Great Old. While Luke Giverin week after week, sound level was able to confirm, was the tall wing player to deal with a dip. The confidence seemed restored with some decent raid turns and a gift assists against SC E. Aalst, but now there is a end to his stay in Deurne North. We wish Gyliano 'Gilly' van Velzen the very best for the rest of his career at sister club Manchester United.
