Don't understand what is going through some of our young players heads.....
From the man himself...People need to realise that the media are going to do this now because of Ravel. Why is everyone believing what they read...I haven't rejected the contract!![]()
Ravel said something similar, now he's blowing bubbles lol
He said club hadn't offered him one to reject, which is true, isn't it?
Only man I believe at the moment is Fergie, so unless he comments on it I'm going to be worried.
Would be great for him to go out on loan and get more experience.
Clarets chasing Fryers | Football News | Sky Sports
I posted before you by seconds... not so Speedy. haha.
Yeah my names ironic haha.
Don't know about Fryers going on loan. If he does go and with Fabio's injury record we could be left with one fit left back. Evans could play there but he should stick to centre back now - he doesn't need to be messed about.
Would be a bit worried if he went on loan with our injury problems
Manchester United transfer gossip: Ezekiel Fryers tipped to sign new deal despite Tottenham interest - Transfer News - MirrorFootball.co.uk
Explains why he played for the Reserves the other night perhaps.
Yep, Fryers involvement in Tuesday's game would suggest his contract negotiations are progressing or his nearing to signing.
If Fryers signs a new contract he should be looking to kick on again and look to rediscover his early season form. I think the level of his showings have dropped off, probably as a consequence of contract talks.
Never thought he was anything special. Still don't, I just feel he's playing in a position we are desperately short of options. Wouldn't bother me if he left tbh.
His early season form was brilliant, he missed pretty much the whole of last season. One of my favourite reserve players, doesn't mean I think he'll make it though. I don't think many will either, now Pogba's off, may just be one or two at a strech from the FAYC winning team.
Yeah I agree.
For instance, Will Keane, brilliant talent, how many strikers come through and make it at United though? Welbeck the first in ages. No one really thought he'd make it though. Cleverley the same in how no one thought he'd make it so it's hard to tell who will and who won't. There are players I thought would make it and haven't. The ones that have made it, I didn't expect.
Yep, it's very hard for a young player to make it a young player. A club is doing well if they produce 1-2 senior players per age group.
Did people think Welbeck wouldnt make it? That surprises me most people didnt think he would make it. Watching him develop I've rated him and thought he would at least be a squad member.
Some didn't think he would. I didn't expect him to until I saw him play for Sunderland last season. I've always liked him though.
Zeki Fryers is lightning quick. I would say it is a toss up betwen Larnell Cole and Zeki Fryers for Reserves sprint champion. Fryers has made a few mistakes but he recovers well and is quick to get back into the action. He does not have the ball skills of either Evra or Rafa but speed counts for a lot in todays game. With full backs doubling as wingers Fryers could be a useful option when Evra finishes. He needs to work on his skills. If he stays behind after trainig to specialise in skills development he could make it. Some work required.
His skills aren't that bad nothing that would hinder him anyway and he can still cross better than Evra
Dont really see Fryers making it at United. For me we definately need to bring in a left back, preferably one that can play centre back too, in the Silvestre or Heinze mould.
Why not? he's done remarkably well when he's played
