Thought Nani was below par tonight. Disappointed in him as he's a key player.

2 games in a row, he's been poor on the right. Was calling for Rafael at HT with Nani moving to left and Valencia moving forward to the right wing. Might not have helped as we were being outdone in midfield though.

Nani did play on the left in the second half against Blackburn and failed to improve. I don't think it's a left or right wing thing.

Nani gave Djourou a torrid time. His attacking play was fantastic. Crossing is the aspect that let him down. I wish he would cross sooner once he's beaten his man. Valencia's goal from Giggs' cross showed what can happen from an earlier cross.

End product not there today as with a lot of players. Hope him coming off was just a precaution as he's a key man.

The Sun is saying United will open talks with Nani over a new four year deal, worth £130k/week.

His form is a big worry with Valencia out. I'm a big fan of Nani but he's been poor in both Ajax games.

Nani appeared to be frustrated with his showing tonight. Just not clicking for him since his return from injury. Hopefully he's benefitted from the two Ajax games in terms of match sharpness and he start a run of form on Sunday. Key player.

Yeah, I mention it in 5 things. We saw with Valencia that you have to be patient. Hopefully fitter and sharper now after 180 minutes. He showed glimpses tonight, needs to step up another level or so on Sunday.

He's been awful in both games vs Ajax which is bad news as we really need him to come good if he can find form there's no reason why he won't do what Valencia did last season and secure a spot to the end of the season.

Hopefully he can get his grove back as when he hits form he can be just as big a threat as Valencia my problem with him is he's doing things to slowly at the moment. Last night he was almost back to his old trick of run at someone, stop, shake a leg then get tackled which used to do my head in over the last 2 seasons he's become a bit more direct and hopefully he can start doing that again.

Portuguese journalist Goncalo Lopes just said on twitter...

Nani just confirmed he's in talks to extend his contract with Man Utd

130k a week I read somewhere. Worth it all the same. I get the feeling watching Nani that he has so much more in his locker and that potentially he could become really world class because he has so much ability.

Fantastic news. Nani is definitely worth £130k per week given that's the rate these days.

When Norwich equalised I thought he upped his game and drove us forward. Carrick was another.

Often gets criticised for being frustrating, there are many others that are just as frustrating, Rooney for one.

The best of Nani is yet to come, he's got so much to give.

I think Rooney more times than not makes the correct decision, I wouldn't put him on the same level as Nani. Rooney's bottom level is higher than Nani's. There was a time when Nani was very frustrating but these games are less of an occurrence now.

"just as frustrating" was wrong. A lot of our players are frustrating though, not just Nani, which is what i'm trying to point out. Seems he's the one who cops the most flak though and considering the contribution he makes it's odd. 1 assist away from matching Ronaldo's total (46) and breaking into the top 10 of all time in the EPL.

Their "bottom levels" are the same they both can turn into pub players

Disagree. When either are having an average game Rooney will still have the bigger influence on a match.

Hey, i'm Portuguese and I am curious, what do you think about Nani? I really enjoy him playing and think that he is better than Valencia.

Nani or Valencia? Tough question! I can see arguments for either player. I'm going to sit on the fence.
