    I think he needs a change a scenery either in a loan or permanent move, he surely must be getting even more frustrated knowing that Welbeck is now in front of him in the pecking order.

    Thought Macheda did okay in the 5-10 minutes he was on. He linked well and his touch was good taking into account the limited football this season. He could do with a start as a forward against Palace.

    Thought he did well too given that he's hardly played, linked well, actually expected him to come on sooner given our strikers' poor finishing. When he came on I thought to myself that he's going to get a chance and miss because he's not played. Had he played for the Reserves on Thursday he MIGHT just have headed it in or at least on target.

    ha sorry had to laugh at that. A lot of people didn't think Welbeck had it in him when he was 20. Hernandez wasn't even known at 20. Not all players can be superstars at 18. Some take a lot longer, look at Cleverley, slowly developing in to a very good talent.

    That is a problem if he signs for a team in the bottom half of the league. Is Sunderland an option? They are short of forwards but again they are in the bottom half.
