Macheda is being linked with a loan move in January to Wigan. Badly needed.

I think he needs a change a scenery either in a loan or permanent move, he surely must be getting even more frustrated knowing that Welbeck is now in front of him in the pecking order.

Thought Macheda did okay in the 5-10 minutes he was on. He linked well and his touch was good taking into account the limited football this season. He could do with a start as a forward against Palace.

Me too was unlucky with the header, timing was a bit off. Please play him as a forward.

Yes, as a striker most definitely.

Am I the only one who wasn't impressed with his little cameo? Maybe i'm being a bit harsh because I always expect more.

Thought he did well too given that he's hardly played, linked well, actually expected him to come on sooner given our strikers' poor finishing. When he came on I thought to myself that he's going to get a chance and miss because he's not played. Had he played for the Reserves on Thursday he MIGHT just have headed it in or at least on target.

He talks a lot of sense, still a lot of time for him - looking forward to watching him tonight. His touch looked good at the weekend.

Did well to win the penalty and score didnt do much else hard to judge him too much whenever he plays he's in a random team. Needs a loan in January desperately.

ha sorry had to laugh at that. A lot of people didn't think Welbeck had it in him when he was 20. Hernandez wasn't even known at 20. Not all players can be superstars at 18. Some take a lot longer, look at Cleverley, slowly developing in to a very good talent.

Kiko definitely needs a loan move where he will be playing week in week out, at least he provided more than Diouf last night who was poor at best

Fergie on loan deals in January: Loan deals work well for all the young players. That's what we're looking at with Macheda and Diouf. They need games.

Diouf needs to be sold not loaned

Yeah I really rate Macheda, he has the skill and stregnth to be good, just needs the confidence and time to develop

By loaning him out, his price should go up though.

True. We wouldn't get anything for him at the minute, he hasn't proved himself at premiership level yet.

Macheda set for New Year loan | Football News | Sky Sports

Needs to be a premier league club where he will play regular football would be good to see if he can perform week in week out

Wigan is a good shout. Cleverley speaks glowingly of Martinez and what he did for him during his time at Wigan.

That is a problem if he signs for a team in the bottom half of the league. Is Sunderland an option? They are short of forwards but again they are in the bottom half.
