We may see more Brazilians/South Americans coming over now. Also, might pick up some youngsters from Twente without being accused of tapping up etc. Can see De Laet possibly going on loan there, would prefer he went on loan to a Championship or Prem club though.

Wouldn't bet against Mclaren being involved at some point.

I didn't know that United had a football academy here in Brazil. haha
Good News anyway. This kind of deal is always interesting. And considering that Twente has been an emerging team in Holland, it might be good to develop our talents.
By the way, do we still got that deal with Royal Antwerp?

Yeah, deal with Antwerp still in place I believe. It seems that Fergie has been less tempted to loan players out there due to them not being in the top Belgian league anymore (I believe).

While eyes were fixed on the Old Trafford directors’ box last Saturday to see if Fabio Capello would finally get up close and personal with Rio Ferdinand over the England captaincy issue, many would have missed the five Brazilian boys sitting six rows behind the Italian.

Long after Capello’s discarded skipper ends his career at United, the club hope their tie-up with Sao Paulo academy Desportivo Brasil will provide them with a steady stream of talent.

The process is part of a painstaking two-and-a-half-year project by the Barclays Premier League leaders to develop their own talent in South America rather than splash out huge fees on the next generation of stars.

Confidentiality agreements prevent Desportivo Brasil from revealing which of their 100-plus teenagers have a pre-contract agreement with United, but Sportsmail has learned that the five players pictured at Old Trafford are called Gladstony, Aguilar, Lucas Evangelista, Agnaldo and Rafael Leao.

I've included the Desportivo partnership in this thread due to relationship with FC Twente.

Manchester United midfielder Gladstony's move to FC Twente has been delayed until the New Year.

Gladstony has been signed by United from their Brazilian satellite club Desportivo Brasil, but can't immediately move to Old Trafford due to work permit problems.

The midfielder was due to join Twente on-loan, but this has been delayed due to injury problems.

A decision over his arrival is now expected in the New Year.

Desportivo Brasil, Manchester United e FC Twente – Um esquema para burlar as leis da Fifa |

    Google translated...
The work team / company could be a solution to the mediocrity and lack of organization of Brazilian football, but in a land like ours could not be anything but another big problem.

Bruno Gomes, the top scorer of the Paulista U-15 2011

Companies are then only think of profit and just think of Brazilian football. Among those that has emerged is the Sports Brazil, Traffic, which has formed great teams in the youth.

This year is the top scorer of the Paulista U-15, Bruno Gomes, and it's semi-final. In U-17 has the second best record, it's semi-final against Palmeiras and has a team full of young prospects.

And where will much talent? The Sport Series B dispute the Paulista and there they are not, because the team has no interest in being in the spotlight of football, after all, they reveal the scheme.

    There is a scam!

That's right, a scheme to pass in the face of FIFA and still take the piss laws that talk about the soliciting of players and young talents of withdrawal of their countries before the age allowed.

The Sports Brazil has a scheme with FC Twente, the Netherlands and Manchester United of England. Surprising? Some other teams are also involved, such as Miami FC, the United States.

Raphael Leon is already Under-18 player of Manchester

Well, if you search for personal profiles of sports stars, will find that many of them have phrases like: "Towards Manchester" and photos at Old Trafford, for example.

The fact is that Manchester and Sport has a deal for the players to play the Brazilian team for the English team, but it also has its complications.

It is very difficult to get a passport to play in England. That is when FC Twente into the story. The players are in the youth team of the Dutch team until they receive their passports in order to work to play for Manchester.

    Six names are confirmed:

Gladstony - Forward 18 years, which is already training with FC Twente. Sports was withdrawn by Brazil of the basic categories of Saints.

Rafael Leon - steering wheel, also with 18 years and already plays for the reserve team of Manchester United, also has scored some goals. The loan agreement ended June 30, but was renewed.

Agnaldo - Gunner's Sports in Brazil Paulista U-17, makes his final season in Brazil. Was removed from the basic categories of Flamengo. Twente have played in the friendly game called test.

Aguilar - Current Sports Brazil's top scorer in the Paulista U-17, along with Agnaldo with 12 goals. It has only 16 and should go to the end of Twente in 2012. It is a favorite of Manchester and considered the greatest promise Sports. Was removed from the basic categories of Cruise. She has participated in friendly match at Twente.

Lucas - Volante, has three goals in the Paulista U-17 this year, is still one more season in Brazil and was removed from the basic categories of Sao Paulo. She has participated in friendly match at Twente.

Bruno Gomes - Scorer Sport in the Paulista U-15, considered one of the best strikers in Brazil category. Forecasting out to 2014. Retrieved from the basic categories of Corinthians.

Gladstony, now with the shirt of Twente

These are just a few names. Surely many others are also involved. There are a large number of athletes who go when they leave the country 18 years, according to a fixed price between Brazil Sports, Twente and Manchester United.

The Sport has more than 100 athletes training in Porto Feliz, but of course, the vast majority does not go to Manchester.

The Sports Brazil injures two times in Brazilian football. First removing the athletes of the big clubs and then sending our young talent to Europe soon.

FIFA says it has strict laws to prevent the exodus of players, but they seem not to work. For Brazil is increasingly difficult to keep young talent and the European clubs do not show to have any sense of ethics with regard to question about trying to discover the promises ever-younger and thus pay less.

Leave law, writing that international transactions are prohibited before the age of 18, seems to have had no effect on Manchester. Just as the player contract offer before talking to your club for which he acts be considered solicitation, in which case even worse because it is soliciting minors, nor frightened Desportivo Brazil.

    The scheme works like this:

Manchester United are interested in a player in Brazil, but as international transactions with athletes under 18 are not allowed, who hires the young is the Sports Brazil.

The boy in Sports Coaching, playing and is observed by scouts from English club. In addition, Manchester has psychological and receive extra English lessons. If you like, go to England or the Netherlands, depending on the situation of the passport and if Manchester would like to pay a fixed service rendered by the Sporty.

The value, however, is not defined by the quality of the athlete. Whether or Neymar is Joe, the Sport has a fixed value in the contract for Manchester United and this value is set by the player's position.

While the athlete can not sign with Manchester, because of age, he is in Brazil and Sports until he can play in England, for your passport, playing for Twente.

Aguilar, promising young Brazilian will be here soon

The Sport is like a franchise of Manchester United in Brazil.

Aguilar's case in particular demonstrates just that.

The striker played for Cruzeiro in 2009, who had a pre-contract. However, as contracts signed before the age of 16 has no validity, Sports Brazil managed to get it from mining team talking directly with the boy. The result is that we see now and the young will leave Brazil soon.

Aguilar is not unique. When Manchester is interested in a player, regardless of which club he is in the Sports Brazil, unethical, goes after removing it from the team where it is. So it was in almost all cases.

Luke the Evangelist, St. Paul's enticed to be sold to Manchester

The Sports Brazil goes up the athlete offering a sum of money that a club that believes in training for his career within the team can not offer.

Of course, because it is guaranteed that Manchester intends to buy it for the value already set and help in hiring the player for Sports. So it was that took the Evangelist Luke and St. Paul had the courage to enter it in the Copa Sao Paulo to 15 years old.

The most interesting is that no search Traffic hide. In an interview with Sportsmail, English periodical Jochen Losch, president of the international trading company, said it all as if it was super cool.

"The Twente is a partner to help Manchester United to resolve the issue with European passports. For two reasons it is good that the first player to go the Netherlands. First, after two or three years it is considered Europe and is also easier to get the Dutch league than the Premier League. "

What the businessman told the news gets worse:

"Manchester looking for good young players in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina ... when they find some good, they speak to us. We hire the player, he records for Brazil and Manchester Sports get the option to hire an athlete when he turns 18, for a fixed price. If the child becomes an Alexandre Pato, they buy at a good price, with a great discount, for fulfilled that first contract. If they do not, we take it back and get him. "

I may not even need to comment on where all this is unethical and even illegal. What Manchester is doing and has the help of Brazil and Sports Twente for this is absurd.

First Sport entice the players to requests from Manchester. In this case, the Manchester Sports uses to entice players who have not completed 16 years or, as the Brazilian team was kind of a figurehead of the English team. It gets worse when it is apparent that the Manchester Sports uses to circumvent the law prohibiting international transfers before age 18.

There are several small ways to simply circumvent the law. It's like they say, there is always a law that says that one can and can not, all depends on your lawyer.

What is sad about all this, is that Brazilian football is experiencing a great battle not to lose all their young talent to keep the level of your league with superstars that can possibly reveal. Look how hard it is to keep Neymar, Luke, Goose, Damian and not to mention the many other promises, some of whom have already left.

At the same time, companies and agents can only see the opportunity for quick profit. Everyone, after all, want to be naughty. The European teams want to guess the revelations and pay less. Entrepreneurs, also concerned with their pocketbooks, they want to put your players in big clubs in Europe in exchange for large sum of money they can give out.

Who gives bad about all this is neither the athlete nor the big clubs, but the Brazilian football in general.

Gladstoney has sorted out his paperwork and is now eligible for selection. Steve McClaren has been impressed by him.
