FA Youth Cup - 4th Round

In the 4th Round of the FA Youth Cup, the Academy will be at home facing Derby County. A generous draw for the defending holders of the Cup.

After a shakey start to the season for the U-18s they have come on in the last couple of month. This team will be doing well to win the trophy on the first time of asking.

Will be a tough enough game. Derby beat a very good Arsenal side that had Kyle Ebecilio playing - he was player of the tournament at the recent world or euro under 17's championships if I remember correctly. They also had some Spanish lad playing they nicked from Barca in the summer. Supoosed to be a big talent also.

Chelsea have some team this year - Piazon was playing for them the other night and the back 4 are pretty much the same as last year

Derby will be far from easy. 15 year old Mason Bennett made his debut for Derby this season.

Hope our lads go through and Swansea go through, might go up and watch, likely to be a Friday night though I suppose which could be tricky. My cousin's boy is in the Swansea academy, he's only 14 so won't be playing. He's a United fan though so I might see if my cousin and him are going up and i'll tag along. Guaranteed that one of the results won't go my way though.

Derby started better the first 10-15 minutes but United have worked their way into the game. Daehli is United's best player so far.

Yeah playing much better. Van Velzen has never convinced me playing up front though.
