Ricky Hatton To Make Comeback?

Hatton has called a press conference on Friday where he is expected to announce his comeback.

Don't really see the point unless he's skint. Three years since he last fought and there's a lot of good boxers in light welterweight and welterweight divisions, he'll make a lot of money but can't see him improving his reputation.

Hatton has confirmed his comeback. He will fight on 24th November against an unnamed opponent.

Hatton's comeback fight will be against Ukrainian Vyacheslav Senchenko. Senchenko's record W32 (KO 21) L1.

Never seen him fight but think his record is flattering. Mostly fought low level fighters and has only fought outside Ukraine 3 times, 2 of those were in Russia. Going to be a lot different fighting Ricky Hatton at the MEN. The only time he's come up against a top fighter was Paulie Malignaggi and I think he got a bit of a beating. Good fight for Hatton to pick, sounds good fighting a former world champion but if he's half the fighter he used to be he should come through it fairly easily.

I agree, but boxing just isn't the kind of sport which allows you to see where you're at. It's not kind on those found well off of the pace. can see this ending hatton's comeback before it get off the ground.
