Used to watch it quite a bit but can't be arsed any more. I have to be up at 6 for work during the week and staying up till the middle of the night to watch a game at the weekend messes up my sleep schedule. Still look out for the Pats results though.
I have been 3 times. Its cool to see it live, but the atmosphere is pretty rubbish. In the US the crowd obviously know when to make noise and when not to, but in the UK most fans don't really know when to make noise. Also, a lot of the crowd are neutral just wanting to watch a game (like me for 2 of the 3 times I have been), so there isn't as much passion.
I would love to go watch a Broncos game in Denver.
What are your thoughts on the possibility of a London franchise?
Really dislike it. I am a huge NFL fan from the UK, but I wouldn't change teams if a Franchise was here. I have been a Broncos fan for the 10 years I have followed the NFL and I am not going to just jump ship, and I know a lot of UK NFL fans feel the same. I don't think the attendances would be anywhere near as high if there was 16 games rather than 1 or 2, and the team would have a huge disadavantage in terms of signing Free Agents because 99% of the players in the league wouldn't want to live here.
Its just a bad idea all around in my opinion. They should give Los Angeles a team back before moving one here.
I'm not an NFL fan but I watch the Super Bowl. Also backing the Ravens, i've backed the winning side since I started watching it 5 years ago. Someone I was in college with had a Ravens shirt with Flacco on the back so yeah... MVP.
Started to watch the Super Bowl after watching Source Code on Channel 4+1 but fell asleep almost immediately so saw very little of the game. I watched Beyonce's half time show this morning, but don't think I'll bother watching a replay of the game.
