Yep, Boente's quote about British boxers sums up the behaviour of Haye and Chisora.

Idiots but at least they've regenerated some interest in a division that has become stale.

Undecided who I want to win in Hatton v Brook. Hatton for because he's a Manchester boxer and a United fan but Brook is likely to have bigger fights in the future which will be good to watch.

Brook won comfortably. If you were being kind you may given Hatton a round. It's why I was disappointed when I heard the news this fight was made, it was predictable.

Looks like Haye and Chisora are going to fight in July at Upton Park. The fight is expected to be sanctioned by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation.

Meanwhile, Lamont Peterson tests positive for a banned substance, synthetic testosterone.

They should have taken points off Floyd for bringing Beiber out.

Floyd, Bieber, 50 Cent and Tripple H - what a quartet.

Enjoyed the Mayweather-Cotto. Thought the fight was closer than scorecards would suggest.

I hope Floyd's next fight is either Pacquiao or Martinez.

You forgot Lil Wayne! Thinking about it though bringing Bieber would have sent teenage girls mad thus bringing in more tv money

Lamont Peterson to lose titles and chance of rematch with Amir Khan | Sport | The Guardian

Fight is off due to Peterson testing positive for drugs, he'll be stripped of the titles he won. Also it turns out he tested positive before the fight when he beat Khan. Unbelievable, boxing is possibly the worst run major sport in the world.

Boxing does itself no favours at times. I don't like UFC and the like, but at least the best fighters will fight each other.

Doesn't help that there's no organisation in overall charge of boxing. UFC is the main MMA franchise but all MMA is controlled by a single set of rules. With boxing there's the WBC, WBA, WBO and the IBF all competing with each other, and each countries (in America each states) boxing commissions are pretty much independent and enforce their own agenda, sometimes actively undermining each other, hence Haye-Chisora fighting despite not having a British boxing license.
