Slap in the face for Fergie and United's staff.
I dont want curly hair anymore
it is quite the insult to MUFC to move to MCFC ... intentional or not....
So we helped him get back to where he is now, continued to pay his wages while he was injured and now he's off to play for that lot.
i take it he's off everyone's Xmas card list then? LOL
Also the chant we had for him "I want curly hair too"... I used to have curly hair as a kid and it's fooking shite, no one should want that.
It will probably cost City more in physios than wages
Pistols at dawn..
Apparently he has not been included in City's Champions League squad but Wayne Bridge has.
like i've been saying.... he'll not play a game
Well Hargreaves has started and of course he has scored.
Hargreaves made 54 passes v Birmingham, 8 more than he totalled in the Premier League during his final 3 seasons at United.
Typical
WTFH is this about Hargreaves blaming the MUFC medical staff for his knee problems????
wonder if there's any legal grounds for action by MUFC in what he's said?
He even contradicts himself in the interview, he said something in this interview and said otherwise last month. What an idiot.
Fergie: My medical staff are one of the main reasons Manchester United has been so successful
United are to issue a statement regarding Hargreaves' comments.
I really doubt the medical staff would be so irresponsible to let him play injuried. Unless he has hidden the injury, such as Ferdinand and others have done before. But then that's his problem, not the medical staff.
That seems more a bitter outburst than anything else. He returned to play, scored a goal, and in euphoria, talked these things.. The funny thing is that last month he told a whole different story. Offered to play for free, said the same medical staff did everything they could to recover him and etc ...
The truth is that we'll never know what really happened in there
Owen Hargreaves statement from Manchester United - Official Manchester United Website
Following certain comments reported in the media this morning, the Club has issued the following statement:
Manchester United is disappointed with Owen Hargreaves’ remarks after the game on Wednesday. The Club gave him the best possible care for three years and is as disappointed as anyone he was not able to play a part in the team’s success at that time. It has shared all the medical records with Manchester City and is comfortable with the actions taken by its medical staff at each step of his many attempts at rehabilitation.
United does not acknowledge any validity in the comments Owen is alleged to have made.
Manchester United has some of the best sports medical staff in world sport, who have made a significant contribution to United’s on-pitch success in recent seasons.
