Manchester United progressed to the knockout stages of the Champions League after a 1-1 draw with Valencia. Pablo Hernández gave the visitors the lead on thirty minutes after Michael Carrick gifted away possession inside his own half. The superb Anderson brought the teams level with his first Old Trafford goal. Both teams will now look forward to the draw, which will take place in Nyon on 17 December.
